Root Canal Treatment
Our doctors perform root canals when infection has reached the nerve of the tooth, causing significant pain and discomfort. During a root canal, we remove the infected pulp and disinfect the inside of the tooth to eliminate remaining bacteria. Then, we use a crown to restore the tooth’s strength and appearance and protect it from further damage.
Extractions
If you have a tooth that is decayed or broken to the point that it cannot be saved with a root canal, we will perform an extraction. Often, a tooth that needs to be extracted will be causing the patient significant pain that causes them to come in for an emergency visit. We do everything we can to help our patients feel comfortable and at ease during an extraction, and after the procedure, we will discuss your tooth-replacement options.
